MASONS PAY TRIBUTE TO BILLY GRAHAM!

Dr. Cathy Burns

In Billy Graham and His Friends (which came out November 2001) I mention (and fully document) a number of Masons who have close ties to Billy Graham. Several of Graham's staff have been Masons such as William M. Watson who was the director of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Corporation (BGEA),1 David M. McConnell, also a director of the BGEA,2 and Arthur Lee Malory who was the co-chairman of the Billy Graham Crusade Advisory Committee for the St. Louis Crusade in 1973.3

Also, for the 1992 Portland, Oregon Billy Graham Crusade only Shriner clowns were allowed to perform.4 To become a Shriner, a person must first be a 32ø Mason! There were other clowns available, but they were not allowed to perform.

Now, in a new book entitled Billy Graham: A Tribute from Friends which came out 6 months after my expose, we have further proof of Graham's Masonic friends. There are 56 tributes to Graham, 8 of which are from women, so that leaves 48 tributes from men. Out of these 48 people, at least 8 of them (appx. 17%) are or were Masons: Senator Robert Byrd,5 former Senators Mark Hatfield and Jesse Helms,6 former Presidents Gerald Ford7 and Bill Clinton (who is a Senior DeMolay member,8 which is a Masonic organization, and a Rhodes Scholar9), and Pastors Oral Roberts, Robert Schuller, and W. A. Criswell. Criswell (who recently died) was a Baptist minister and it was his church where Graham has kept his membership. (Of the 8 people listed, only Criswell has claimed to have renounced his Masonic membership.)

Let's pause here for a few minutes and take a brief look at some of the names just mentioned. We'll start with Bill Clinton. Several years ago Eric Barger wrote: "Make no mistake. Bill Clinton and his team are extreme far-left socialist, New Age and as globally minded in orientation as anyone could imagine....[F]rom Hillary Clinton's alleged contacting of the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt, to Al Gore's Mother Earth goddess advocacy, Clinton is surrounded by, and is himself no small advocate of a New Age-New World Order based on collective communism. It appears that Clinton is destined to set the dubious record as the U.S. President with the most extreme socialist, one-world orientation, complete with the staff to inflict it upon the American citizenry."10

Clinton presented Communist Nelson Mandela with the Congressional Medal of Honor on September 23, 1998.11 Both Clintons have been admirers of Communist Jane Fonda (before her supposed "conversion").12 Hillary funded the pro-Marxist Institute for Policy Studies and other Communist organizations in her position for the New World Foundation in 1987-1988.13 This was just ONE YEAR before Graham's Little Rock Crusade of which Bill Clinton was the honorary chair!

You see, Billy Graham first met Bill Clinton when he was governor of Arkansas. They met again during Graham's 1989 Crusade in Little Rock.14 Governor Clinton was honorary chair of that Crusade. Bill and Hillary gave a luncheon for Graham along with a few of the Crusade's strongest supporters and leaders of the state were invited too, including former governor Orval Faubus.15 Faubus, by the way, is also a Mason.16

In an interview with U.S. News and World Report on May 3, 1993, Graham said about Clinton: "I am quite impressed with his charisma and with some of the things he believes. If he chose to preach the gospel instead of politics, he would make a great evangelist."17 He also said: "From a biblical point of view, we should be headed in the direction of goodness and righteousness, away from crime and immorality and towards one's neighbors who are in need. I'm encouraged by the emphasis President Clinton and Hillary are putting on that."18 [Emphasis mine throughout.]

Graham says Bill and Hillary are leading us in the direction of goodness and righteousness, yet Clinton was recently photographed at a Democratic fund-raiser with Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy. The photo then appeared in the May 2000 issue of Playboy.19 This is hardly a righteous influence! Clinton has also "appointed over a score of homosexuals to his staff."20

In Graham's autobiography, Just As I Am, he mentions that he was with President Clinton on May 1, 1996. He states: "It was a time of warm fellowship with a man who has not always won the approval of his FELLOW CHRISTIANS but who has in his heart a desire to serve God and do His will."21

"At a luncheon for 500 newspaper editors at their annual convention in Washington, D.C., Graham said that the President's personal life and character are 'irrelevant.' At the luncheon...he promoted Clinton as a man of God. He explained that he and Clinton had been close friends for many years and stated, 'I believe Bill has gone to his knees many times and asked God to help him.'"22

I guess it's easy to see why Bill Clinton could pay a tribute to Graham. Also, as already mentioned, Clinton is a Senior DeMolay member. Would it come as a surprise to you that Billy Graham has also praised the DeMolays?

In a Masonic book, The Clergy and the Craft, in which the author states "The clergy represented in this volume are proud to be both Masons and Ministers of God23 [Italics in the original; boldface and underlining added.] we find this statement by Graham: "There are the young people upon which the hope of America's future rests and DeMolays are part of this group....May God richly bless all DeMolays as they continue their good work."24

Clinton has also belonged to the Council on Foreign Relations25 and the Trilateral Commission26 as well as attending the Bilderberger meetings.27 All of these groups are one-world in outlook.

Of course, Clinton is not the only person who belongs to these groups that paid tribute to Graham. A number of those mentioned in this book belong to secret, one-world order, Illuminist, and/or occultic groups such as the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission (TC), the Bilderbergers, Skull and Bones (S&B), and the Bohemian Grove! For instance, Former President George H. W. Bush was a CFR member (as well as a former director of the CFR28), a TC member, and S&B member.29 Bush's secret Skull and Bones name was "Magog," a name "usually given to the Bonesman considered to have the most sexual experience."30

During Bush's presidency he appointed more than 350 CFR and TC members to high level positions.31

It was Bush who addressed Congress on September 11, 1990, saying that "a new world order can emerge...that a new world is struggling to be born."32

When Bush decided on the Persian Gulf War, he sent a message to Graham which read: "Come. We need you."33 He also had Graham preach the sermon. This sermon, however, was quite interesting. Graham said: "Perhaps, out of this war will come a new peace and-as been stated by the President-a new world order."34

Both Bush and Gerald Ford are members of the occultic Bohemian Grove.35 Ford, a 33ø Mason,36 was also CFR member37 and attended Bilderberg meetings. He has also been a speaker for the World Future Society,38 another one-world organization. Jimmy Carter belonged to the CFR and TC. As a politician, Carter was a supporter of the feminist Equal Rights Amendment. The July 1976 issue of Playgirl magazine called Jimmy their "feminist candidate" because "he has pledged to support virtually every issue of importance to the women's movement."39 Although he claims to be against abortion, "he has even refused to oppose the federal funding of abortions."40 In fact, after his election, "Carter appointed a pro-abortion activist, Sarah Weddington, to the position of assistant to the president. Weddington was lead attorney in the Roe v. Wade, which resulted in legalization of abortion in America and the murder of millions of unborn babies."41

Carter said that he didn't want to legalize marijuana but went on to say that he favored decriminalizing it, which meant that someone possessing the drug for personal use would not be considered a criminal.42

One author summed up Carter's 1976 campaign like this: "The Carter platform is, in fact, tailor-made to bring socialism to America. And while the vast body of voters has no idea this is true, one group has seen through the pap being ground out for the masses to the lean Marxist meat on the inside. Three days after the amazing Mr. C. [Carter] tied a bright-red bow around the Democratic convention, the Socialist Party of America (now marching under the more acceptable banner of Social Democrats USA) endorsed 'the forward-thinking ticket' of Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale. Indeed, so enthusiastic were the socialists by the Carter promise that they decided against running any national ticket this year-urging their members instead to campaign for the peanut politico."43 [Italics in the original; boldface added.]

On October 27, 1999, Carter was on the NBC "Today" show. He said that "many of us who are not Christians worship the same God."44 In "alluding to his having once met with Israel's Begin and Egypt's Sadat, he adds that they were all 'compatible' since 'we worship the same God....In fact, all the Muslims revere Christ....Jesus said he shouldn't condemn anyone.'"45

In Carter's book, Living Faith, he wrote: "Of course, the fellowship of faith is even larger than the Christian world."46

Carter's November 22, 2000 letter mentioned The Carter Center, which he brags was "attended by members of over 20 Christian denominations, diverse Jewish groups, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Baha'is, and members of many other faiths."47 Carter says these different groups found common ground in "establishing peace and preventing human suffering."48 Obviously, Christ has been left out!

Carter also belonged to the Better World Society,49 and, as already mentioned, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), and the Trilateral Commission (TC).50 These groups are working for a one world government. As President, Carter filled his cabinet with CFR members. His National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, was both a CFR and TC member. In fact, Brzezinski was the founding Director of the TC.51 In his book, Between Two Ages: America's Role in the Technetronic Era, Brzezinski wrote: "Marxism represents a further vital and creative stage in the maturing of man's universal vision. Marxism is simultaneously a victory of the external, active man over the inner, passive man and a victory of reason over belief....The nation-state is gradually yielding its sovereignty....Further progress will require greater American sacrifices. More intensive efforts to shape a new world monetary structure will have to be undertaken, with some consequent risk to the presently favorable American position."52

Carter "said that while homosexuality is a sin, he sees nothing wrong with a 'Christian' homosexual being ordained."53 "In 1992, Carter agreed to serve as the honorary co-chair of the Human Rights Campaign, a homosexual advocacy group."54

So how does Billy Graham feel about Carter? He writes: "I grew to like him as a person and to respect both his intelligence and his genuine and unashamed Christian commitment."55 He said that Carter was "a leader we can trust and follow."56 Graham also said: "A man of faith and sterling integrity, he was undoubtedly one of our most diligent Presidents, persistent and painstaking in his attention to his responsibilities."57 He adds: "Since leaving office, Mr. Carter has continued to carry out his responsibilities as a Christian...."58

"In 1966 Carter had chaired a small crusade built around showing Billy's film The Restless Ones....After each showing of the film, Carter himself explained the Gospel and invited the audience to the altar. In 1973, Carter chaired the full-fledged crusade in Atlanta and invited Billy for an overnight stay at the governor's mansion."59

Graham then goes on to explain: "When my plans for another Crusade in Atlanta in 1994 first began to take shape, Jimmy Carter gladly agreed to serve as the honorary chairman. He was on the platform the opening night in October, in the new Georgia Dome, and spoke for several minutes to the audience."60

Carter's sister, Ruth Carter Stapleton, was also one of Billy Graham's friends. In this book of tributes, you can find a picture showing Graham, Stapleton, and Ben Armstrong. Stapleton is now deceased and therefore could not give a tribute for this book but I thought it was quite interesting that her picture was included in this book since she was an occultist and "a featured speaker at the 13th Annual World Festival of the International Cooperation Council, held in Santa Monica, California, on January 22, 1978. This gathering of Eastern mystics, mind-science practitioners, and assorted esotericists from around the world billed itself as a Synergy Conference-'a cooperative effort on the part of all philosophies to unite in common setting to exchange ideas,' and 'a creative process moving from the individual to the cosmos.'"61

Here's how Stapleton explains what it means to be "born again": "You know, it's really strange, but every single human being can experience being born again in a way that's unique with them. I've known those who were in an art museum, and they looked at a beautiful picture, hanging on the wall, by one of the great masters, and all of sudden, for the first time in their life, something exploded inside, and there was the reality of truth: God is. That consciousness that we call the consciousness of Christ...it would flood their being; and then, from then on they knew that there was more than just two dimensions in life, but there was that dimension of the spirit, and a knowing of that Oneness. Sometimes I've known people that experienced this when they were listening to one of the great composers in music."62

That certainly is not the Biblical explanation of being "born again"!

On February 26, 1978 at Christ Universal Temple in Chicago, Stapleton declared: "God is wholeness and you are God."63

In an interview with Christianity Today (November 4, 1977), Stapleton remarked: "The Bible does not teach that we experience hell after we die, we experience it before we die."64

She explains how one should use repetition to attain the state of concentration.65 She suggests repeating a phrase such as "I am one with God" over and over again.66

Stapleton has used guided meditation and the occult technique of visualization.67

In fact, her 1977 book, The Experience of Inner Healing, deals extensively with the occult method of meditation.68 (For more information on visualization, see my book Tongues, Prosperity, and Godhood.)  So how does Billy Graham feel about Stapleton's book which promotes OCCULT MEDITATION, visualization, etc., etc.? Well, it's not hard to find out, since his ENDORSEMENT is on the back cover of Stapleton's book, The Experience of Inner Healing: "Thank God for someone like Ruth, who goes about the country exalting the name of Jesus Christ, the way she does in her ministry." Yes, Billy Graham allowed his endorsement on her book!

Another person who paid tribute to Graham was Mark Hatfield, a 33ø Mason,69 who along with Ted Kennedy, joined together in 1981 "in proposing a nuclear freeze resolution to the Senate."70 Hatfield was one of the signers of the traitorous "Declaration of Interdependence" which states in part: "Two centuries ago our forefathers brought forth a new nation: now we must join with others to bring forth a new world order....

"To establish a new world order of compassion, peace, justice and security it is essential that mankind free itself from the limitations of national prejudice....

"Narrow notions of national sovereignty must not be permitted to curtail that obligation."71

He stated in the August 24, 1980 issue of the Washington Post that "it was possible to be both a political liberal and a conservative, evangelical, born-again Christian."72 Of course, born-again Christians don't vote for funding for the pornographic displays put out by the National Endowment for the Arts, but Hatfield voted in favor of funding the NEA.73

Hatfield has been a prominent member of the Norman Thomas Endowment at the New School for Social Research which is described as a Humanist-Socialist institution.74

Mark Hatfield was a member of the radical-extremist Institute for Policy Studies.75 He is also "a promoter of the New Age and his endorsement is on the back cover of the New Age book, Earthkeeping. Hatfield has also written enthusiastic endorsements for many New Age-oriented 'Christian' books. Hatfield introduced zero population growth legislation into the United States Senate and supports the New Age group Friends of the Earth which promotes genocidal global de-population."76 [Italics in the original.] In the April 1984 New Options Newsletter, "Hatfield had one of the top four scores in the United States Senate for voting affirmatively on New Age issues."77

In 1991 he voted to use taxpayer dollars to fund abortion.78 In 1992 he voted to allow fetal tissue from aborted babies to be used for medical research.79 In 1993 he voted for the nominations of lesbian Roberta Achtenberg and Joycelyn Elders,80 and for funding of the National Endowment for the Arts and their pornographic displays.81 In 1995 he voted in favor of taxpayer funds for homosexuality.82

This is the person whom Billy Graham called "a devout evangelical"83 and "a great Christian leader"84 and suggested that Nixon make him his running mate.85

In a Chicago Tribune article we find that "Billy Graham gives credit to Senator Mark Hatfield of the United States for indoctrinating him with the pacifist and disarmament stances which he has recently swung around to and which he is now agitating for in his sermons and, particularly, on his recent visit to the KGB-controlled religious conference held in Moscow...."86

Is it any wonder that Mark Hatfield would now give Graham a tribute?

Another 33ø Masonic Senator who paid tribute to Graham was Robert Byrd, a liberal Democrat.87 We are told that for "decades this man has been deeply involved with the CIA's 'mind-control' programs including Tavistock's MK-Ultra Project Monarch.88 He was also one of the Senators, along with Mark Hatfield, who voted to continue funding the pornographic displays put out by the National Endowment for the Arts.89

In addition to the tributes from Masons, there are 2 tributes from women whose husbands were Masons and also friends of Billy: Ruth Stafford Peale (whose husband was 33ø Mason Norman Vincent Peale) and Dale Evans Rogers (whose husband was 33ø Mason Roy Rogers). Dale (recently deceased) was also a member of the Eastern Star, a Masonic organization for women.

There is an article written by Mrs. Peale which appeared in the Masonic magazine, The Scottish Rite Journal, in September 1995. She wrote: "Being a Freemason was an important part of the life of Norman Vincent Peale, and the Scottish Rite meant a great deal to him. He passed away on December 24, 1993, but I am keeping his message flowing out through both Peale Center and Guideposts magazine."90 (For more information on Masonry, their beliefs, and symbolism, please see the following books: Hidden Secrets of Masonry; Hidden Secrets of the Eastern Star; Mormonism, Masonry, and Godhood; and Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated.)

Not only was Norman Vincent Peale a Mason, but he has endorsed the ungodly channeled messages called The Jesus Letters written by Jane Palzere and Anna Brown. The "Jesus" of The Jesus Letters claims that heaven is for all and that every person (including the heathen) has Christ within. The authors (one of whom is a Theosophist) insist that there are many "Christs." Of course, the book also endorses spirit mediums and channelers.91

What was Peale's response to this occult book? He wrote: "What a wonderful gift to all of us from you is your book, THE JESUS LETTERS....You will bless many by this truly inspired book."92 He adds: "It little matters if these writings come from Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus of Jane [Palzere], they are all the same consciousness and that consciousness is God. I am part of God, and Jane and Anna are part of that same God."93

Another book is called Explore Your Psychic World. A New Age brochure describes this book as "one of the most thorough overviews of the psychic aspects of life in print today. It examines auras, astral travel, communication with discarnates, clairvoyance, possession, psychic attack, and dreams. When first published, it was hailed by Norman Vincent Peale as 'a great piece of work.'"94

I guess Peale had a penchant for endorsing occultic books dealing with spirit communication. Another book, The Dead Are Alive! They Can and Do Communicate with You, was also promoted by Peale.95 He gushed: "A masterpiece!...I hope it will be widely read."96

"The book's author is Harold Sherman, a psychic and spirit medium who also wrote a companion book, You Live After Death."97

Peale "denied the virgin birth, deity, resurrection and vicarious satisfaction of Jesus Christ. He did not believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven."98

On a 1984 Phil Donahue program, Peale said: "It's not necessary to be born again. You have your way to God: I have mine. I found eternal peace in a Shinto shrine....Christ is one of the ways. God is everywhere."99

Even though Peale denied Christ's virgin birth, deity, and resurrection,100 on December 6, 1966, at a National Council of Churches luncheon, Graham said, "I don't know anyone who has done more for the kingdom of God than Norman and Ruth Peale, or have meant any more in my life-the encouragement they have given me."101

Over 30 years later (and after Peale had died), Graham was still praising him.102 In his 1997 autobiography he noted: "...Dr. Peale was warmly supportive of the meetings [at Madison Square Garden in 1957]. Although our emphasis in preaching differed, I found him a deeply committed believer with a genuine concern that men and women give their lives to Christ."103

No wonder Ruth Peale would give a tribute to Graham in this new book.

Pat Robertson also gave a tribute. His father was a 32ø Mason and in his tribute he stated: "My father, who was serving the United States Senate at the time, was one of those on Capitol Hill who lent his support to a man [Billy Graham] who seemed to be destined to play a major role in the history of evangelical Christianity in the United States."104

One religious leader and 33ø Mason, Oral Roberts,105 credits his popularity to Billy Graham.106 Roberts write: "Within my ministry of healing and fulfilling God's call upon my life, Billy has done the thing that made a major difference in the thoughts of the public leaders toward me....

"His willingness to dedicate Oral Roberts University in April 1967 before eighteen thousand Tulsans and others, all covered by national television, was the incomparable deed that gave ORU life in its infancy."107 A picture of Graham at ORU is included in this book and ORU's logo of a circle and triangle can be seen on it. ORU's logo "carries with it significant, esoteric messages of a New Age, Masonic nature."108 (For more information on these symbols, see my book Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated.)

Texe Marrs stated: "I have visited the campus of Oral Roberts University (ORU) and was surprised to see that the tower and other architectural buildings are designed in the form of New Age and Masonic symbols."

Another person visited the ORU campus and gave this report: "I was absolutely shocked when we passed the campus of Oral Roberts University. There was a big, lighted sign advising all Tulsans to come and hear a speech by Mikhail Gorbachev. That international Communist leader, Gorbachev, was to speak within the next 48 hours at Oral Roberts University.

"Now I realize that Oral Roberts himself does not hide his convictions as a liberal Democrat. He has let all his fellow Tulsa visitors know his political convictions that he supports the liberal elements of the Democratic party. But I could not believe that he or his son-who is now president of the University-would welcome the former Soviet Communist dictator to the Oral Roberts University campus."109

Since Graham has helped Roberts to attain notoriety, it's no surprise to see that Roberts has given a tribute to Graham.

Another televangelist is Robert Schuller. He, too, is a 33ø Mason110 and has been friends with Graham for many years. It was Graham who encouraged Schuller to start his own TV program.111 An interview with Schuller appeared in USA Today. When he was asked "How did you begin televising your services?," Schuller responded: "In September 1969, Billy Graham had a crusade in Anaheim which he was televising. I found that fascinating, and out of that came his suggestion that we start doing it week to week for the benefit of people who couldn't come out and attend church."112

"Schuller contends that the most destructive thing that can be done to a person is to call him a sinner. In an article in Christianity Today, October 5, 1984, Schuller said, 'I don't think anything has been done in the name of Christ and under the banner of Christianity that has proven more destructive to human personality and, hence, counterproductive to the evangelism enterprise than the often crude, uncouth, and unchristian strategy of attempting to make people aware of their lost and sinful condition.'"113

The Bible, however, states: "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (I Timothy 1:15). "God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). Jesus said: "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17; Matthew 9:13; Luke 5:32). "Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death" (James 5:20).

There is nothing more loving than telling a lost sinner that Christ can save him but Schuller thinks that this has been "destructive" and "counterproductive."

Schuller endorses "all forms of Eastern meditation such as TM, Zen Buddhism and yoga as valid methods for 'the harnessing, by human means, of God's divine laws....'"114 Also, Schuller's Crystal Cathedral actually houses the offices for a group called "Christians and Muslims for Peace" (CAMP).115 Schuller told Imam Alfred Mohammed of the Muslim American Society he wouldn't be bothered if he came back in 100 years and found that his descendants were Muslims.116 In fact, Schuller has recommended and written a foreword to the book More in Common Than You Think, which "declares that Christians and Muslims are all one in our true worship of God."117

Like Oral Roberts, Schuller has also featured the Communist Mikhail Gorbachev on his October 22, 2000 "Hour of Power" program.118 "Schuller pressed him to acknowledge that he is not an atheist, but the avowed Leninist/atheist Gorbachev would not do so."119 Schuller later remarked that Gorbachev "calls himself an atheist, but 11 years ago, as one of the most powerful men in the world, God used this atheist in a mighty way."120

At the end of this interview an interesting handshake took place. Schuller and Gorbachev gave an extended handshake which appeared to be Masonic in nature.121

Also, Schuller has had Burl Ives on his program. He, too, was a DeMolay,122 a 33ø Mason,123 and a Communist.124 On that "Hour of Power" program, Schuller asked Ives "'of all the great honors and awards that you have received in your long and successful career what do you hold as the highest.' Brother Ives replied 'WHEN THEY MADE ME A MASTER MASON.'"125 [Emphasis in the original.] One Masonic brochure added about this "Hour of Power" program: "It is one of the finest testimonials Masonry has ever had."126

In spite of all this (and much more!), Graham said of Schuller: "There is no one in all the world I love in Christ more than I do Bob Schuller....He has done some of the greatest things for the kingdom of God of any man in our generation."127

Is it any wonder that Schuller could also write a tribute to Graham?

Most of these Masons, CFR members, etc., who have praised Graham in this new book, had already been covered in much greater detail in my book, Billy Graham and His Friends-several months PRIOR TO the publishing of Billy Graham: A Tribute from Friends. Isn't it interesting that the above few people represent over 21% of all the names listed in this book?

Now, let's briefly look at the publisher for this book which is Time Warner/Warner Books. This is the same company which was the producer of "Cop Killer," "the song by hard rock rapper, 'Ice-T.'"128 They were also the producers for Madonna's filthy book which had to be Mylar-wrapped.129

Time Warner is listed in the Council on Foreign Relations Annual Report as being a "CORPORATE MEMBER ROSTER"130 which has given money "to support major components of the Council's studies, fellowship, and other activities."131 At least 15 people in top positions at Time Warner have belonged to groups like the CFR and the Trilateral Commission.132

Interestingly, the logo for Time Warner is an all-seeing eye-a Masonic and occult symbol!133 (For more information on this symbol, see my book Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated.)

If Billy Graham were truly a man of God and was preaching the true gospel of Jesus Christ, do you think he would be loved-and praised-by occultists, Masons, one-world order promoters, pro-abortionists, and pro-homosexuals? My Bible says: "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you" (John 15:19). Does the world love or hate Billy Graham? Matthew 24:9 says: "[Y]e shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake." James 4:4 asks: "[K]now ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." Graham himself has said: "I wonder sometimes if I'm pleasing God or man...."134 Sadly, many people have "loved the praise of men more than the praise of God" (John 12:43). I hope and trust you are not one of these people.
