WAKE-UP Christian This sermon is strictly for the Christian. The purpose is to bring Jesus Christ glory and honor from Christians, to lift him up, and bring obedience, in the service of His Majesty, the Lord of all Heaven and earth, the most High King, Jesus Christ the Savior. Open your heart, judge yourself, and bring your attention to the Word of God.
THE CHRISTIAN
There are many that profess to be Christians and call themselves servants of Christ, yet the truth remains that not all who say Lord, Lord are accepted into the Kingdom of God. Do you ever consider this thought, that your relationship with Christ is just a relation, would you even know, if you were pleasing the Lord or Not. When the judgment of God is at hand, and you see the Great Lord Jesus, in all his Power and Majesty and He turns his focus on you, and says the words “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. What would you give, to be able to come back to your life here on earth, and change it? Are you comfortable in Christ, or are you Secure in Christ? Are you the Christian that Christianity is in the word, or are you the Christian that Churchianity is in the world. If it were not possible that you could be deceived, then why did Jesus say “Take heed that ye be not deceived”. Think back of when you were not saved, how you went along in life. Sinning and doing all types of evil that you considered to be fair and just, without even considering the thought of God, or the fact that you were on your way to hell. Life passed you by every day with your eyes blinded from knowing that God even existed, and while you may have believed in there being a God, the desire for wealth, and the longing to be accepted and approved by man, deceived you so greatly, that had God not called you, there would have been no understanding or effort on your behalf to call on Jesus Christ. “Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart” that was your condition in life; deception ruled you and made it feel comfortable. Sin entangled you and made it feel pleasurable, and all along you never knew it! When you came to Christ and gave him your life, only then, did you begin to see the filth and disgust of what you were, and who you were. You took on you the rightful duty, to serve Christ and to be called a Christian. But have you since then seeked The Lord as if he were lost, have you cried out in thirst and hunger after righteousness. Have you Christian seeked first the Kingdom of God. Have you made Gods word the light to your path and the lamp to your feet, can you honestly say that you have taken up your cross, denied yourself and followed wholly after Christ. These are the Gospel conditions and Christ’s standard of loving Him. Could it be that you have made Christ something, and not everything? Do you know what Jesus Christ expects from you, or has your faith, been dead without works. It is a Biblical Fact that you are saved by Gods undeserving favor and love, called grace, and that by your good works you could never earn salvation it is THE gift of God. However, now that you have invited Christ to rule your life, have you ceased all your efforts of love, to search what is the duty of a Christian? Have you not longed to obey and please the Lord, if so, then you have denied the Lord. As the Scripture hath said:
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate” Do you profess to know God, and deny him in good works? Then you have hidden your light and failed to Glorify God, for the Lord has said “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” When you come from the world to submit to Christ, and to his Word, there must be a change in everything in your life. What Glory is it to bring God, if you remained the same? Has it not appeared to you (Christian) that the Almighty God is at hand? If there is no change, there is no Jesus. For at one time you loved the world, where as now you are commanded to “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.” Before, you would strive to satisfy your own needs, even at the cost of others downfall, you are now commanded “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.”Once again in your sinful self centered life, you would hate your enemies, and seek the destruction of those who cursed you. To them that hated you, violence, in any form would be your solution. And if anyone used you, it would mean vengeance, and all sorts of evil would cloud your mind. Now the counsel of Jesus is this “But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” can you see that the requirement of God, is the total opposite of the world. Have you focused on the outward appearance toward man and neglected the inward state toward God of being a Christian. You may ask what are my duties, and what is good works, in asking this you have failed to abide in the word, and follow, after Christ. Therefore you are destroyed for lack of knowledge, every day, that you have spent in ignorance of what your duty is, are all the days that are now destroyed in sin, and disobedience, because of your lack of knowledge. Will you redeem the time that you spent in sin, or will you allow sin to steal your inheritance. Many Christians seek to cover their laziness by claiming it is all of Gods duty to change me, and that Gods grace will cover me. Does it mean that because you are saved by grace, that grace itself does not need the demand for obedience? Is the Christian a simple puppet that has no power to obey nor any will to perform? Has Christ asked too much of a great thing, that it is now impossible? If so, we are under no authority to obey God, for it is beyond our human capabilities. Then all we are to do is sit, and wait in comfort, until God come and do our duty for us, and so we slip down into the threat of Hell, as the scripture states “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves” This is the state of many and possibly you. How shall you enter heaven, if heaven does not enter you first? Lets take a farmer for example if he had the attitude in saying that he will not sow any seed, nor plough any ground, until God come and does it for him. Why the whole world would be in hunger. It is a simple truth and the farmer knows that God has set forth a plan, with specific instruction, that in order to have a great crop, the farmer will have to obey and do his complete duty, to plough and break up the ground, and then to sow seed and tend to the cultivating of it. In doing so, God will bring the rain and the season; this is the only way, that he can have a great crop or harvest.
The same truth is stated in the Word of God “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you”
How will you oh (Christian), sow in righteousness, if you are ignorant of the path in the Word, that leads you there. What mercy will you reap from God, for not doing that which God has called you to do? How will you break up your proud stubborn ground, without the tools of Gods word? How shall Christ, be your righteousness, when you are not walking in him. This is the biblical fact, God will not do for you what he expects of you. In his early remarks during what we call the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus describes His disciples as "the salt of the earth." Notice this verse carefully: “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men” Jesus puts forth for all to understand the uselessness of unsavory salt, which is incapable of preserving and flavoring. "Throw it away!" is His advice for useless salt. The application to Christians is clearly seen. God put us here to preserve and flavor His world, by His word, if you are not doing that, what good are you to Him or others? God’s people are salting the earth and preserving the creation of God. They are lighting the world and glorifying the God who made it. I have a question: If you are not salting this earth with truth and lighting this world with Jesus, then why are you here? As the Lord said: “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Do you say Lord, Lord and do not the things that he says in his word? It is very easy for you Christian to deceive yourselves, into thinking that there is no responsibility, or need for you to be a doer of the Word, just consider the state of the world and all those who are slipping into hell, and eternal destruction. To keep Christ from shining through you. To hold back the words of his Majesty. To be ashamed and not speak out, this is the death of many…..A CHRISTLESS LIFE. You have been given the cure for eternal death, how selfish is it to keep Christ from firstly changing you, and then changing all those around you. When will you be able to say like Paul said: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Consider a doctor, who had all the medication to help people in need, what if he kept all that medicine for himself. Stored it away and never attempted to help any man, women or child, not even himself. The world would die in disease, and sickness, as well as the doctors themselves, this is the state of many Christians, while the world with their friends and family die from sin and iniquity, they have become lukewarm, following after riches, and personal Glory, rather than seeking the Lord and living for His glory. What about you? Will you trust man and his opinion about what God said, or will you search the word and trust God about what HE has said? No excuses of working late, having no time, all these lies are just enough to lead you to a Christless eternity. When Jesus was torn and beaten beyond recognition, crucified and bled to death, he never waited, nor made any excuse for loving you, what could possibly be your excuse for not loving and serving him. Consider your life with Christ for a moment. (silence)
THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
Lets define what a Christian is not, a Christian does not, bow down to statues or idols, nor do they pray to other people or saints, because Gods word calls that an abomination or disgusting to God, a Christian, cannot deny the punishment of hell or the chance of heaven. To say such things as that, is to try to make God a liar, for his word clearly states it. A Christian cannot be led, by any other book, except the 66 books of the bible. The life, death and resurrection of Christ, and all his deity, anyone or thing that adds or takes away from the glory of Christ is from the antichrist and satan himself. Man has sinned, and fallen, every one of them, and so, God, has spoken, preserved and delivered his complete word. That man might live by faith through Christ, the word made flesh. A Christian must accept the bible, as their final authority and complete guidance and rule of life. As it is written: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” there is one type of Christian, and that is one that is BORN AGAIN……listen to the authority of Jesus Christ when he said, and still says “Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again” when you said the sinners prayer, you invited Christ to come into your life, and take full control of it. You saw that your sin is your separation from living in Christ, and that hell awaited you. Unti,l you came to confess your sins, forsake them, and live to your maker. However simply saying a prayer does not complete the gospel requirements. It is simply the beginning to see the kingdom, and the love of God. To enter the kingdom however there is another requirement as Jesus said: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” the water resembles the word, as the scripture hath said: “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.” The Lord Jesus said unto his believers then, and now “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” As it is written. “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” in the word you are born again, and then become followers of Christ. As you continue in the word, it is the word that washes away all your own excuses, and all the theories and philosophies of man, and demon. Only then do you see how God sent his only begotten son, into this world of hate. Only in the word do see the truth if Jesus piercing the lies of humanity. Only in the word can you hear the words of your creator speaking, commanding, proclaiming and calling sinners to repent and Christians to believe and serve.
As the Psalmist said “...for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name” For the Almighty God to place his word, above his name, you must understand that you cannot be a Christian, without the word. Glancing at it, and reading only a few words a day, is disrespecting the Most High Jesus Christ,… study it, apply it, ask God to illuminate it for you, not any preacher or pastor,… stop putting men upon pedestals, and put Christ, and all his exalted word in the center of your life. The more you study Gods word, the louder his voice becomes.
Being born of the spirit is to believe the word, and be sealed with the Holy Spirit. When you truly believe, then you will truly follow. And as your obedience increases, so the Holy Spirit becomes more and more of your direction. As it is written “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” He will lead you, guide you, show you help you and convict you. This is the promise of the Lord. Ask the Lord for the Holy Spirit and he will give him to you. However sin, ungodliness, unrighteousness, filth, all fleshly ways and iniquity grieve and blaspheme the Holy Ghost. Be led by the spirit and not driven by your own lusts, and the purposes of man in this evil world. Christian it is a personal relationship that the word speaks of. Not a feeling when you want to, nor a circumstance that drives you. It’s your entire life, your every breath must pull toward His throne, or else you are lost. When the Lord Jesus said “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:” Do you actually comprehend the in-depth love of these burning words? Do you love Christ in light of these words? Or are you just another professing Christian that possesses no true love for Christ, and his Kingdom? The word says “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and truth” to love in deed, means to love in actions, that are consciously done from the heart. Not just saying, from your lips but showing from your heart, in merciful acts, it is the labor of love. To love Christ in deed is to wake up early before the day begins, and spend some time in prayer and the word. It means to take a stand against lies, and evil, no matter what the cost. It means going to witness whenever you get the chance. It means buying that bible and giving it to your lost friend. It’s that food you give to the poor. Its that blanket to cover the cold and sickly. It’s that money you send to missionaries around the world. It’s your faith in praying for the sick, and visiting the lost in hospital. It’s going that extra mile. You see Christian, if you merely say, I love you, and follow it up with no deeds, then your love is only in your word, and as quick as you say it, it’s gone again. What is truth, Jesus said the word is truth, when you love Jesus in truth; you love him in all his word. Doing it from the heart with no intentions to gain anything, or receive anything, neither to please any man or women. It must be pure, from the lifeline of life, the Word. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart - The meaning of this is, that you must love him with all your affections and desires and powers. You must love him supremely, more than all other beings, and things, and with all the ardor possible. To love him with all the heart is to fix all your affections supremely on him. More strongly than on anything else, and to be willing to give up all that you hold dear at his commandment. With all thy soul - is with all your “life.” This means, to be willing to give up your life to him, and to devote it all to his service; to live to him, and to be willing to die at his command. With all thy mind - To submit all your mind thoughts and passions. Your complete intellect to his will. To love his law and gospel more than you do the decisions of your own minds. To be willing to submit all your faculties to his teaching and guidance. To devote and to surrender to him all you’re intellectual ideas, and all the results of your intellectual efforts. With all thy strength, With all the ability of soul and body. To labor and toil for his glory, and to make that the great object of all your efforts.
A love for Christ is not something extra for the Christian. It is basic to Christian sanctity. It is not a dessert, but the main course, not a sideshow, but the main tent. It is not a motive to which we can resort to when convenient; it is a controlling force, to which we have committed our lives. We have abandoned everything else. In time, applause and pleas of the world have a hollow ring. His smile is singularly our greatest delight! This is the lifestyle of love, a desire to please Him. Is this the condition of your life? Are you in love with Jesus Christ? There are many in the day of their death, or the Day of Judgment, who will not make the Kingdom. It is described in the word as following, “For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the Gospel of God? Dear Christian what a thought it would be, that at the day of your judgment with Christ, when you have to give an account of your life. And The Lord asks you, “Why could you not love me as I asked? How shall you justify in the face of Jesus, that you seeked riches, and glory for yourself, and not for him. What answer could you give, standing at the throne of God, and realizing that all your opportunities and time has passed you by? what would you give to be able to come back to your life, and just for one day, give all you could, do all you can, and love with all your complete being, for Jesus Christ…. “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Do you honor the Lord with your lips, and neglect the inward truth that comes only from the heart, you may deceive man, you may even deceive yourself, but you shall never fool God, for the scripture says: “Shall not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart” At the end, God will search your love for him out. Whether it was true, or if there were any hidden motives. Whether he was just another relationship, or another false cover for you to hide behind. Many, so called Christians claim to be God fearing, and God loving, yet how can you say that you love God, and yet you have no love for others,… do you take part in bringing other people down. Do you delight in driving comfortably past a homeless man or woman? What are your prayers to God? Are they all for self gain and self gratification, do you cry before God for the saving of the lost. Are you burdened for sinners? Do you care that they will go to hell? There is another great neglected truth, Christian. If a sinner were to come, and ask of you, to lead him in the scriptures that he may give his life to Christ, would you be able to show him the way. Do you know the scriptures to give an answer for your faith? Are you a vessel that God may use to bring people from their sinful ways? Do you love God, has your hearts met with Jesus in the word. For by your lack of knowledge, God will require the blood of others. For so has the scripture said: “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand” That is the duty of the Christian, to warn others every day about the danger of hell, and speak of the sacrifice of Christ to take away their sins. That must be your speech. Not to tell dirty jokes and try to be entertainment for others. Consider this, do you like to be lied to,.. And kept in the dark about truth, do you like it when someone keeps the truth from you, how would you feel if someone was holding your child, or close friend hostage, and no one alerted you about it. And everyone just kept quite, and hid it for as long as possible with lies and deceit? Don’t you realize that is the state of sinners and many so called Christians today? If you hate to be pushed aside from the truth and the facts, then why are you keeping Christ and his word from others? Are you ashamed, have you no confidence in God. Does the thought of being bold for Christ and speaking against sin, make you feel embarrassed. If so then you have failed to keep the Lords commandment as Jesus said: “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” You love the truth, and love Jesus Christ, then go and give him to others, or else, you love in vain. Would you like to go to hell,..? Obviously not, so then why are you not taking others with you to heaven. You can’t take money or anything on earth with you. The only thing that will come with you is the souls of those you pulled from the fire. Christian you have to be a doer of the word. Not just when it feels like it, but continuously. The grace that saves you is the grace that calls you to serve. It calls you to be separate from the world. To hate evil, to fear the Lord, and live righteously. For it is written: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all man, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world” firstly you Christian must deny ungodliness. It is not pleasant in the sight of God for you to compromise the word, just to fit into the world. Think upon the following questions: 1) Do you speak out when someone is being led in sin? 2) Do you entertain others with sin and filthiness? 3) Do your words reflect Christ? 4) Do you act one way to Christians and another way to sinners? 5) Do you follow the multitude to do evil, and make no stand for Christ? 6) Does your conduct of life minister to others? Think upon these questions seriously, grace teaches you to deny, the filth and the ungodliness of the world every single day. Are you denying it and bringing biblical correction, or are you agreeing with it and bring sinful approval? As the scripture hath said: “.Let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear: for our God is a consuming fire” what is the reverence and Godly fear of your attitude. How do you approach God? Do you realize that he has the power, to bring to heaven, or cast you in hell? Do you realize that you are the creation, he is the Almighty creator? Do you hate evil and sin, do you reverence and highly esteem God and his word. Always remember as Paul said: he is a consuming fire. The grace of God does not agree with ungodliness, grace came by Christ, to say that grace agrees with ungodliness, is to say Christ agrees with sin and filth. For you to say that sin is ok in the lives of others and yourself. You make God a liar and the truth is not in you. For to say that you will love all those who commit sin, and show them Jesus, in that way, then you are greatly deceived. For the scripture states: “That love rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the Truth” how can you claim to love others who are falling into sin, and slipping into hell. Without telling them the truth. Grace is not the excuse for sin in your lives or the lives of others. And if you only speak to suite man and not God, then you are not a servant for Christ. For this is what the scripture says: “For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ”
So either you can choose to deny the ungodliness of others, and the world and please God. Or you can make excuses, to join in and please men, YOU CHOOSE. The word says: “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked” Christian if you say that you abide in Christ. Then you must walk even as he walked. In light of this scripture think upon these questions? 1) Would Jesus accept ungodliness and worldly lusts, without correcting it? 2) Would he allow ungodliness and worldly lusts to entertain him? 3) Would he find humor in it, and accept it in His life? 4) Would he agree with sin and filth, just to keep the peace? The fact is, The Lord Jesus displayed the perfect Christian life and the work of grace, he never accepted the filth and lies of this world, in his own words he said: “Think not that I come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword” when you tell others of Christ, and expose their sin, to save them from hell, remember that Christ came not for peace, but a sword. The Lord does not want proud shameful people to serve him for He himself said: “But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven” you must choose. To either honor Gods grace, and deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and serve Christ. Or to agree, with filth, and try to cover the path to hell with excuses, and so serve satan. It is a narrow path that leads to heaven. And a broad path that leads to eternal destruction, the Grace of The Lord saves us, and then teaches us, so we can teach others, and honors the Lord; remember you are saved to serve. At all times grace requires you to be sober, in mind, body, and soul. You cannot be involved in sin and filth, and still expect Gods grace to abound so you can have pleasure. For the word declares, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Grace teaches us to have no part in ungodliness and worldly lusts. You must be completely dead to sin. Many Christians make excuses and say that they cannot resist sin. And are overcome by their temptation. How is it then that they are weak enough to submit to sin, and yet strong enough to deny God and resist all his word. It is impossible to be a willful sinner, and continue in Christ. For so says the scripture: “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins” Gods grace demands that we live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. We cannot say that we love the Lord, and don’t keep all his commandments, for this is the scripture: “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” the Lord Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments. That is the path to heaven and the sober righteous and godly life. It is in faith in Christ and having works in the word of obedience “If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him” (Christian) no one forces you to sin. You know what sin is, and you know the penalty to willfully and willingly committing sin. for example: before you swear, and curse others, you know in your mind and soul that it is sin, yet you choose to continue to curse and say all kinds of evil. In doing so your heart becomes hardened by the deceitfulness of sin, and soon that sin becomes part of your moral character. Is this your daily life, if so the lord will not hear your prayer?
As this is the scripture: “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” This is the failure of the Christian in having no answer to prayer. It is required of the Lord that you keep always his commandments, or he will not answer any prayer. This is the scripture: “And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight” this is the failure of many so called Christians, because they neglect the word of God, they fail in prayer, and continue to do the things that do not please the Lord. Dear Christian is it such a difficulty to keep the commandments. To please Jesus in all your life. Are you so weak and unfaithful that you can’t even search to know, the King you serve. You Christian are without excuse. If you ask the Lord to Guide you, he will. If you ask the Lord to show you, he will. If you ask the Lord to make you, he won’t. It is your duty for such is the scripture: “He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul” the Lord has promised divine assistance and counsel, he even gives wisdom unto those that ask. But if you neglect the word in studying it and doing it, what can you receive from the Lord. He will liken you unto a foolish person. So says the scripture. “And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended and the flood came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it” at the end of this parable, note the words, and great was the fall of it, are you Christian building your walk with Christ, on the words of man, are you building for this life, and neglecting the life to come. Are you rushing for the world, and resisting for the word. No one can force you to sin, you know what sin is, and still you dare to play with the Almighty. Is there no fear of God before you, don’t you trust in Christ, or has man become your savior? When you stand judgment before the Lord, you will stand alone. No person can come and plead your case for you. The only advocate you have is in heaven right now pleading your case, and still you fail to see the love of God that calls you to holiness and righteousness. What other salvation is there for you, as the scripture strictly says: “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation” what other sacrifice will you turn to, who else can be perfect and die for your sins, are you neglecting your salvation, if it were not possible then why does Gods word say that it is?
You are in excusable. Many fail for lack of knowledge for scripture, and laziness to perform it. Here is how you can achieve the will of God, in your life, it is given in the following scripture: “Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you” ask without reasoning of gain, or motives of pleasure. Ask in the depth of your soul. Make it, a crying desire to ask day and night. Purify your minds in the word. Humble yourselves before the Lord. Ask out of a pure heart and be doers of righteousness, just as Christ was and is. And you will be given the place where to seek. And as you seek direct all the thoughts of your mind, and desires of your heart, toward that seeking. Seek in all your faith and hope that you can muster to seek. And then it shall be given unto you, the door of your faith, and as you knock remember he is the great God almighty. Reverence him, and completely adore him, let him be the first love of your life. And the greatest love of your life. Then when he opens that door, you know it’s the door that only he can open. And it’s the door that leads you to the throne of Jesus Christ, the Savoir and Lover of your Soul. The greatness of a Christian’s power is in the measure of their surrender. What is the willingness of your surrender to Christ? It’s the same as clay and wax, when you put clay before the sun it becomes stiff, hard and cannot be molded. But when you put wax before the sun it melts and submits to the heat, it becomes soft and easy to mold. What is your heart and attitude like before the Son of Righteousness. Are you clay inside, or are you wax inside. Will you submit and inherit eternal life, or will you harden your hearts, and inherit eternal destruction?... Many Christians look for the promises, and blessings in the word that are one sided. However there are other promises that you Christian, have forgotten, such as the following: “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” Not maybe, or never, but will suffer persecution, to what degree, only Christ knows. Let me ask you Christian, is the Lord Jesus Christ worthy to suffer for. Are you willing to give your life for him? Will you deny him for your own blood; remember he never denied you on the cross. If you are not suffering any persecution, are you then living Godly, according to the word? Persecution arises because, the world hates correction. Its entire evil works are exposed by Christian living. Its darkness is exposed by Christian light. Christians are not of it. It is at war with Christians. It is a natural enemy of God. Christians hate its ways. It is ignorant of God. To live Godly in Christ is to live separate from the world and its hell bounding sins. The scripture tells that: “He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul” you have a great inheritance in Christ. And it can only be kept in keeping his word, when you keep is word and do it, you keep your soul. And when you witness in righteousness and live in righteousness, you bring the souls of others into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. There are many excuses of Christians around the world, and there will be many sorrows at the judgment seat of Christ. Many will realize that it’s too late, but you listener have a choice here and now. Will you yield to the Holy Spirit and repent. And begin in a walk with Jesus Christ that will testify to all who know you, and revive all who meet you.
